The Clayton Power LPS II comes as standard with our Explorer, Great Outdoors and Tourer campervan conversions, it is available as and upgrade on our U-Shaped conversion.
The Clayton Power LPS II is an all in one solution to the complex task of managing campervan electrics. This unit handles all of the 230v needs through an RDC protected circuit. It also contains all of the 12v electrics that are required for a campervan.
Here are some of the main features of the LPS II:
The LPS II allows us to replace the gas hob with an induction hob (and separate sink) thanks to its powerful built-in 230v inverter. By using an induction hob, we are able to remove the need for gas to be carried in your van.
This totally gas-free system is safer and cleaner than having a gas burning hob inside your van.
The Clayton Power LPS II is simple to operate via the supplied remote control panel. The control panel allows you to switch on/off the 12V and 230V systems independently or together based on your power needs.
There is a handy jumpstart button on the remote control panel, once pressed this button will activate a relay that enables 12V power from the LPS II unit to charge up your vehicles main engine starter battery. 4-5 minutes after the button is pressed, your engine starter battery will be sufficiently charged to to start the engine.
The remote control panel also has a charging indicator LED and displays the battery charge % level.
